Have you ever started at a new school and things were just not right?

Synopsis: Alyssa, is new in town Fairview, and starts as a senior in school and befriends the mean girls led by Reyna that rule the hallways. It turns out each girl has secrets that they are hiding. One girl is secretly a cyber bully. Another one has a boyfriend who has a drug problem who she is afraid to emotionally connect with. Another one is messing around with Reyna’s boyfriend.

Later while only the mean girls are swimming, they are struck by lightning in near death accident. Afterwards, the girls begin demonstrating telepathic abilities. That’s when things start to get interesting. The girls are able to read each other’s thoughts and start learning secrets about one another. They also find out that they can attack one another with their minds. Unfortunately, the more they use their powers the more unstable they become.

From there, things continue to spiral out of control when truths begin coming out and the fallout is brutal, leading to betrayal and a deadly fight for survival. In the final moment, the girls realize nothing is what it seems. That the new girl is not as she appears and was the only one with powers, indirectly responsible for everything that happens. Alyssa’s last words will haunt everyone. She says “I’m not going to lie, ladies. This is going to hurt you more than it will hurt me” and the screaming starts…

Set to be filmed in Las Cruces, New Mexico, School will be Tamara Hansen's directing debut and first feature, based on an original script also written by Brady & Chris Gordon.
